It’s taken Drake six arduous years to top the Billboard Hot 100 as the first-billed artist, but he has finally done so with Views single ‘One Dance’.

It comes with the news, according to Billboard, that he has also broken the record for most concurrent hits with a whopping 20 tracks on the chart. This does not include ‘Hotline Bling’, which was very close to being his first solo #1 last year until Adele released ‘Hello’.

Views had already broken the record for most single-week album streams and has had the biggest first week sales of the year so far.

Earlier today, we reported that Skepta confirmed Drake’s signing to Boy Better Knew – although, he will “not be suing Lil Wayne.” But one thing this charts news confirms: America is apparently more ready for UK funky than they are for grime.
