LA electronic pop group Pollyn are gearing up to drop their album Distress Signals on May 13.

In anticipation, they’ve released a video for their Linda Perhacs-sampling track ‘Too Late to Change the Past’. The brooding clip was inspired by the video for ‘Karma Police’, Donnie Darko and David Cronenberg, among other things – its director Adam Jay Weissman wanted to “create a strong emotional center, just like the song.”

“For the video concept, Adam and I talked about how we both loved Under The Skin – Adam has exposed me to a lot of film weirdness, some almost traumatic – and wanted it to be like what the song is talking about but without being too literal,” says Pollyn vocalist Genevieve Artadi. “[We wanted it to] have a spooky sci-fi element involving a woman running away for some strange reason.”
