We still don’t know when Danny Brown will drop his next album, but a live show documentary starring the Detroit rapper is set to debut next week.

Danny Brown: Live at the Majestic will screen at Brooklyn’s House of Vans in Greenpoint, accompanied by a live performance by the Detroit rapper. Admission for the event is free – you can RSVP here – but you will probably have to show up early to guarantee your spot inside.

Live at the Majestic was directed by Andrew Cohn, a filmmaker who is no stranger to producing work about unique people named Danny. His ESPN 30 For 30 feature Kid Danny told the story of Bronx little league phenom Danny Almonte who was accused in 2001 of being too old to play on his third place-winning team.

While the news of the Brown documentary comes with no update about when we’ll hear new music, earlier this year, Nick Catchdubs revealed to FACT that Brown’s next album is complete: “Like everything he’s done in life, Danny’s gone a different route. He’s gone in a direction that suits him. I think that when he feels like it’s time to unleash this shit, people are gonna be excited.”
