The warped producer unleashes “his most unstable creation yet”.

When he’s not working in his band Black Moth Super Rainbow, Tobacco wreaks havoc with a disorienting take on funk music that walks the line between smooth easy listening and horrorlike psychedelia. Judging by the new ‘Human Om’, that combination sounds as wonderfully unstable as ever on the upcoming Sweatbox Dynasty.

Blending smooth Air-like elegance with distorted vocals and huge analog synth-blasts, even with the occasional gong the track finds Tobacco in a brighter place than 2014’s aggressive Ultima II Massage and brings to mind the sunnier textures of 2008’s breakthrough debut Fucked Up Friends.
