Disgraced DJ Ten Walls has addressed his removal from the bill of Ibiza club night Circoloco yesterday (June 30) after a backlash from members of the DJ community on social media.

The high-profile Ibiza party was criticised by DJs including Midland and Pearson Sound for booking the DJ and producer, who compared homosexuality to paedophilia in a Facebook post last year.

Speaking on Facebook, Ten Walls, real name Marijus Adomaitis, said: “First of all I would like to say thanks to Circoloco for the invitation. However, my performance was canceled, as a number of DJ’s refused to play on the same stage with me. I do understand the pressure Circoloco has experienced and support their decision.

“Disappointments and anger won’t find place in my life. I will never give up creating and performing my music, that has been everything to me, since I was 5 years old.
Keep it up and see you all equalized in upcoming gigs.”

The producer has continued to make music and play gigs around the world despite the controversial statements made last year, which also referred to gay men as a “different breed.”

Last year he followed an apology statement with a track called ‘Shining’ recorded with transgender singer Alex Radford, which was released through a Lithuanian LGBT website.
