More New York techno goodness from the Lovers Rock label.

Brooklyn producers Ital and Aurora Halal have collaborated on a second record of deep, foggy, late night techno following 2014’s The Day After.

Arriving once again on Ital’s Lovers Rock label (one of FACT’s labels to watch in 2016), Tower B features four tracks in the vein of Terrence Dixon’s ominous Detroit jams and Newworldaquarium’s ambient-brushed techno, rounded off with a beatless track originally commissioned for an installation at New York’s Clocktower Gallery.

The record is the latest from Lovers Rock stable, which has grown into one of Brooklyn’s best labels thanks to music from Ital, Aurora Halal, Earthen Sea, DJ Wey and Gunnar Haslam over the past few years.

Halal is best known for her Mutual Dreaming parties and involvement in New York’s Sustain-Release festival, which this year celebrates its third year with DJ Sprinkles, Lena Willikens and Optimo all booked to perform from September 16-18.

Tower B is released in late August. Until then, revisit Aurora Halal’s killer FACT mix from last year below.
