Three of best albums from the band’s later period return remastered.

Sonic Youth may have left us, but the noise rock legends have at least been good about reissuing their albums and digging up rarities. The next batch of releases cover their great mid-2000s’ resurgence, a period that saw them enlist Jim O’Rourke for the dense psychedelia of 2002’s Murray Street and 2004’s Sonic Nurse, before drifting back to the more immediate rock of Rather Ripped in 2006.

All three records have been remastered from the original tapes by Universal Music Enterprises and will be reissued July 15 on vinyl and digital.
