Watch Spooky mix his 10 most prized dubplates

When it comes to dubplates, Spooky is your man.

The London DJ and producer is one of the most hardest working people in grime. Resident on Deja Vu, Mode FM and Radar Radio (sometimes passing through four stations a week), remixing and producing tunes, playing shows overseas and, crucially, cutting some of the most sought-after dubplates in the game.

He also made one of the hardest FACT Mixes ever and holds a spot among on my top three favourite DJs of all time. FACT TV linked up with Spooky at Mode FM in Enfield to film an exclusive set of his most prized dubplates, from Commodo and Sh?m to his own VIP of a dubstep classic.

As he was mixing Spooky gave us a rundown of everything dubplate related, from their status in grime’s current revival to his own cutting style and why you should never cut a dub without permission.

Watch the session above and listen back to Spooky’s set below, with tracklist underneath. If this doesn’t set your weekend off, we don’t know what will.
