Laura Mvula, The Noisettes and Lady Leshurr have also been added to the one-day festival.
Grace Jones will replace M.I.A. as headliner of the first London edition of Afropunk festival on September 24, organisers have confirmed.
M.I.A. was dropped from the line-up last week after it emerged the artist had made controversial statements about Black Lives Matter.
In a statement the festival said: “A key part of the Afropunk ethos has always been educating one another, breaking down boundaries and sparking conversation about race, gender, religion, sex, culture and everything that makes life worth living… After discussing the situation with the artist and the community, a decision was agreed upon by all involved that M.I.A will no longer headline Afropunk London.”
More artists have been added to the Alexandra Palace event along with Jones, including Laura Mvula, Kwabs, The Noisettes, Loyle Carner, Goldlink, Lady Leshurr, Skinny Girl Diet and Mnek.
The additions join the artists already on the bill, which include Benjamin Booker, SZA, Ho99o9, Akala, Dreadzone & Don Letts, Cakes Da Killa, Gaika, Vodun, Youthman, Soulection and DJs from NTS Radio.
