Russell Haswell, Max Loderbauer, Felix K and Ena have also been added to the techno and experimental festival.

Berlin Atonal has finalised its line-up for 2016, with performances from Alessandro Cortini and Donato Dozzy among the highlights.

Cortini will be premiering a new audio-visual show at the five-day Berlin festival, built around Super 8 footage from his grandfather’s personal archive, while Donato Dozzy will team up with fellow Italian Lory D for a four-hour hybrid DJ/live show.

Other additions include Recent Arts, a duo of Chilean visual artist Valentina Berthelon and German musician Tobias Freund, Max Loderbauer interpreting Steve Reich’s ‘Piano Phase’ for Buchla synthesizer and Scott Monteith aka Deadbeat. Further collaborative sets will come from Mix Mup and Kassem Mosse as MM/KM and Hidden Hawaii boss Felix K and Samurai Horo producer Ena.

Russell Haswell will curate his own stage under the heading ‘Recapitulate’, which intends to stimulate a “collective flashback to the mid-90s”. Editions Mego boss Peter Rehberg aka Pita and farmersmanual will perform, followed by “a stream-of-consciousness trip through the bowels of YouTube” with commentary.

Other acts added include ambient techno collective Σ, Yves de Mey, Headless Horseman, Dresvn, DJ Sotofett, ResomAleksi Perälä, Ike Release, Alvin Aronson, Pinch, Low Jack, Imaginary Forces, Nuel and more.

The fresh additions join what is already one of the year’s best line-ups of techno and experimental music, featuring Raime, Death in Vegas, Peter Zinovieff, Rashad Becker, Lucy Railton and Moritz von Oswald.

Berlin Atonal takes place at the German capital’s Kraftwerk venue across August 24-28. Full details and tickets can be found at the festival website.
