“I’m with my man T.O.P, who always stays on the t-o-p.”

Lil Yachty may be having a breakout year with his mixtape Summer Songs 2 and studio time with Kanye West, but he hasn’t lost his sense of humor. In this 20-minute clip made by 88Rising for a project called Karaoke Crossovers, the Atlanta upstart freestyles over songs by the mega-popular k-pop group BIGBANG to celebrate their 10th anniversary.

Not familiar with BIGBANG? Here’s their track ‘Bad Boy’ – video filmed in Williamsburg, Brooklyn and all.

You can catch Yachty rapping over that track himself at the 4:50 mark, but really stick around for the whole thing, particularly the intro.

Here’s the thing – G-Dragon and T.O.P from BIGBANG are actually extremely proficient rappers (more so than Yachty, depending on who you ask).

Seriously, here’s G-Dragon and CL from the k-pop girl group 2NE1 going ham on Skrillex and Diplo’s ‘Dirty Vibe’.

G-Dragon has also caught the attention of Missy Elliott.

And T.O.P’s solo cut ‘Doom Dada’ is the closest thing to ‘A Milli’ I’ve ever heard, let alone from a member of a boy band.

So, how does Yachty match up?
