Just in time for autumn.

Nine Inch Nails promised new music in 2016 and may be releasing the first single from their follow-up to 2013’s Hesitation Marks next month. According to reddit user H-orce, who “[works] in the music industry”, the band has a track called ‘Dive and Slam’ in the Kobalt Music Group database.

Consequence of Sound reports this song has also been registered to ASCAP’s Repertory bank. No other information has been disclosed or uncovered yet, but we can assume this will probably be released exclusively via Apple Music because of frontman Trent Reznor’s role as Chief Creative Officer.

Last month, we reported that the very first Minimoog Model D is in Reznor’s personal studio, so perhaps this could give us a hint of what to expect from new tunes.

Update: Sorry Nine Inch Nails fans.
