Skepta has announced his biggest ever gig at London’s Alexandra Palace.

Taking over the vast North London venue on December, the night will feature “very special guests” in support. Tickets are on sale this Friday (August 12) at 9am.

By that time the grime MC could have won the Mercury Prize – he’ll find out on September 15 whether he’s picked up the annual album prize for his LP Konnichiwa, going up against David Bowie, Radiohead, Jamie Woon and eight more.

This year’s prize will let the public have a say in which album wins via an online poll to select the first of the six finalists, so get voting.
