The latest Discwoman mix comes from PTP affiliate and Berlin Community Radio regular Dis Fig, and it’s one of the best in the series yet. Blending mechanical rhythms, drone, ambient and noise across 60 minutes, it features music from dancehall outfit Equiknoxx, M.E.S.H., Endgame, Loom and NAAFI’s Imaabs. One of the freshest takes on contemporary club sounds we’ve heard in a long time.
Call Super
Dekmantel Festival Set
Call Super doesn’t post many recordings of his DJ sets, so this two-hour session from last month’s Dekmantel Festival in Amsterdam is a bit special. Playing everything from Grace Jones and Shed through Robert Owens and Silent Servant, it’s the perfect feelgood festival set with all the rough edges and good times you’d expect. “I was not concerned about each mix being smooth as a petal, my concern was only where we were going,” he says.

Carnival Special
If you’re suffering from post-carnival blues, Jubilee’s short and sweet mix from last weekend’s Hipsters Don’t Dance takeover of Radar Radio is just the thing. Rihanna, Beyoncé, Drake, Shaggy, Tinashe and Robin S’ ‘Show Me Love’ all make an appearance, given a dancehall flip with added airhorn to boot.

BOCCARA Mix 06
Known for his releases on FunkinEven’s Apron label and Unknown To The Unknown, Brassfoot’s crunky club jams fit somewhere between the music of Greg Beato and Actress. Starting with a dialogue sample from ‘80s cartoon The Raccoons, it weaves its way through dilapidated R&B edits, chopped and screwed house and stomping funk jams. One to reach for when the night starts getting wavy.
Jon Rust & Jamie xx
Phonox Set
Seeing Jamie xx in a small venue is something of a rarity nowadays, so this four-hour recording of his recent back-to-back set with expert selector Jon Rust at London’s Phonox is one to dive into. Floorplan, Pépé Bradock, Terrence Parker, Daniel Wang, Plastikman and ‘Precious Little Diamond’ all feature – in short, wall-to-wall party bangers.
