“Some exciting things coming up soon.”

After hinting about the collaboration earlier in the year, Kanye West has now confirmed that he is releasing a joint album with Drake.

In an interview with Vogue yesterday (September 7), West said the pair have been “working on a bunch of music together, just having fun going into the studio. We’re working on an album, so there’s some exciting things coming up soon.” No release date has been confirmed.

Drake is credited as a writer on ’30 Hours’ from West’s The Life of Pablo. He returned the favor by jumping on Drake’s ‘Pop Style’ with Jay Z as The Throne, but their version ultimately didn’t make it onto VIEWS.

It was revealed in July that he is also working on a follow-up album, as well as an EP with Gucci Mane tentatively titled The 6ers.
