“Sports radio for music fans”.

SiriusXM has unveiled a new talk radio channel dedicated solely to music discussion, Pitchfork reports. VOLUME will launch with 12 shows featuring music trivia, interviews, album reviews and more.

“Sports radio for music fans” was how executive producer Roger Coletti described the channel, adding “[VOLUME] is full of passionate, respected, and entertaining personalities that the audience will love, respect, and trust.”

The channel will debut on October 17 at 7 a.m. with Feedback, which is described as “live morning talk-show featuring the latest music news, scoop, what’s trending and conversations with guests and audiences”. The first guest will be Lady Gaga. Upcoming guests on other shows include Steve Albini, T.I., Robert Plant, Paul Simon and more.
