Solange has dropped her new album A Seat At The Table, the long-awaited follow-up to 2012’s True EP.

The 21-track album features guest spots from Lil Wayne, Kelela, Kelly Rowland, Q-Tip, Tweet, The-Dream and Dev Hynes, as well as interludes from No Limit Records boss Master P. The release is accompanied by a 112-page digital book.

This is the third full-length from Solange and follows 2008’s Sol-Angel and the Hadley St. Dreams. Listen to the album via Spotify below or visit Apple Music.

“‘True’ was meant to provoke joy and to challenge what we know as pop,” Solange tweeted last night (September 29) in response to a fan’s question asking her to compare the two albums. A Seat At The Table is meant “to provoke healing and a journey of self empowerment,” she added.

Earlier this month, Solange penned a powerful essay about “white spaces” after being harassed at a Kraftwerk show in New Orleans.
