The event will help to raise awareness of Oxfam and encourage fans to get involved to fight poverty around the world.

A 24-hour DJ marathon is happening today (October 12) to mark ten years of Oxfam’s Oxjam Music Festival.

The event will see 24 acts, including Horse Meat Disco, Bugged Out DJs, Basement Jaxx, Rob da Bank, Secretsundaze and Goldierocks take to the decks at 1pm for one-hour sets. See the full list of names below.

The marathon, which will be live-streamed on the Oxjam website from 1pm today, will be hosted by Goldierocks, aka Sam Hall, who conceived the event and curated it in conjunction with Oxfam and DJ Mag. If you want to head down, it’s taking place at the Work Bar, 3 Chapel Market, London, N1 9EZ.

There will be two separate ticketed events during the 24-hour DJ marathon: one on the evening of 12 October from 7pm – 3.30am and one the next morning – tickets are just £5.

The format of the marathon is as follows:

October 12
13.00 – 18.30 Event open to the public: Voluntary donations on the door
18.30 – 19.00 Stream only
19.00 – 03.30 Ticketed event 1 “Night Ticket”

October 13
03.30 – 07.00 Stream only
07.00 – 10.00 Ticketed event 2 “Morning Gloryville Takeover”
10.00 – 13.00 Event open to the public: Voluntary donations on the door

Since the charity event brand launched 10 years ago, Oxjam has raised enough money to supply fresh water to 2.8 million people.
