‘Time’ is his first new material since the release of 32 Levels.

Clams Casino has shared his contribution to the #savefabric compilation, a cloudy instrumental called ‘Time’.

It’s one of 111 tracks on the massive compilation in support of the London club’s appeal against its recent closure, which also features contributions from µ-Ziq, Ikonika, Pinch, Nightwave and Special Request.

Unlike the vocal-heavy tracks on the hip-hop producer’s recent 32 Levels album, ‘Time’ is reminiscent of the tracks on his early collection of instrumentals and music for Tri Angle.

The #savefabric compilation was announced yesterday (October 26), with all proceeds going to the club’s campaign fund.

Artists were asked to donate a track to the cause with a deadline of just three weeks. Fabric asked for a previously unreleased track, “either brand new or an alternative version of an old classic.”

‘Time’ falls into the former category, with a press release explaining that it’s Clams Casino’s first all-new track since the release of 32 Levels.

You can pre-order the #savefabric compilation from Bandcamp ahead of its release on November 4. The club’s appeal date is set for November 28.
