Even synths are getting involved in the US election.

Brooklyn-based boutique synth company Critter & Guitari has created a synth patch for users of its Organelle instrument that reminds its US users to vote in the 2016 presidential election.

The patch was written by Critter & Guitari co-founder Chris Kucinski, and displays a message on the Organelle’s OLED screen together with a particularly urgent-sounding synth tone.

The open-source Organelle synth was released in 2015, and uses the Pure Data language so that anyone can write their own synth patches from scratch. It’s capable of sounding like any instrument, if you have the coding knowledge.

If you want to get yourself the Vote 2016 patch, it can be downloaded from Patchstorage. [via Synthtopia]
