Kanye West is reportedly asking for studio equipment and other material so he can continue to work while under hospital care at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, where he has been a patient for over a week.

“Kanye keeps wanting to work. At the hospital, he requested that recording equipment be brought to the hospital so he can record in his bed… And he has kept asking to see sketches of his fashion lines,” a source told Us Weekly. “He continues to want to work and Kim has to keep telling him to rest.”

West was hospitalized on Monday, November 21 for temporary psychosis due to dehydration and extreme exhaustion after behaving erratically with his personal trainer. He was reportedly to be discharged on November 28, but will remain at UCLA until an undetermined (or, possibly just undisclosed) date as he was “still not stable”.

Us Weekly also reports that Kim Kardashian has not left Kanye’s side and spent Thanksgiving in the hospital with him.

Earlier this month, West came under fire for pro-Trump comments and for lambasting Jay Z, Beyoncé and Hillary Clinton at two different dates of the Saint Pablo Tour. He has since canceled the rest of his 2016 run.
