The spawn of Posh and Becks launches a music career.

We’re not sure if Cruz Beckham was coerced into recording this song under the pretence of doing something ‘cool’, but his new festive single, ‘If Everyday Was Christmas,’ has just landed.

The track, which has been recorded with Michael Jackson and Destiny’s Child hitmaker Rodney Jerkins, debuted on Capital FM this morning with Yung Beckham explaining the impetus for the song: “It’s two of my favourite things – singing and Christmas.” Beckham, who is being managed by Justin Bieber’s manager Scooter Braun, also announced the news on his newly created Instagram account.

Contrary to the song’s lyrics (“If every day was Christmas and I can’t be with you, underneath the mistletoe, kiss you when nobody knows”), it’s doubtful the poor lad will be kissing anyone special this Christmas now. And while the choir is a nice touch, if we took the title seriously a) Christmas would be incredibly boring and b) we would all get gout and die.

All profits from the single do go to charity though, so it’s not all bad.
