In between committing traffic violations, obviously.

Lil Uzi Vert has been working in the studio with Kanye West. The Philly firebrand revealed the collaboration in an interview on DJ Whoo Kid’s radio show The Whoolywood Shuffle, while also calling West “highly intelligent” and explaining that he was “dropping gems” without even knowing.

Uzi didn’t unveil any further details, so we’ll have to keep watching. But it makes a change from hearing about his traffic violations, that’s for sure. Last week, the rapper was arrested in Atlanta after fleeing from the police on a dirt bike.

According to the police report, Lil Uzi and a friend were riding dirt bikes last Thursday without lights or helmets and racing the wrong way down a one-way street. They also drove on the pavement and crossed 5 lanes of traffic without signalling. Naughty.

Uzi was arrested for obstruction, reckless driving and not having a driver’s license, among other traffic offences, but got out the next day after posting a $6,500 bond.

Meanwhile, Kanye caused chaos, confusion and outrage earlier this week when he decided to pay Donald Trump a visit. He later claimed that he was there to “discuss multicultural issues,” listing topics discussed as education, bullying and violence in Chicago, and saying “I feel it is important to have a direct line of communication with our future President if we truly want change.” [via AllHipHop]
