Soulja Boy was arrested in his Hollywood Hills home earlier today for violating his probation from a 2014 case where he was charged for having a loaded gun.
The Atlanta rapper is not allowed to possess a weapon, but one was found in his house during an LAPD search of the premises. Law enforcement received a Crime Stoppers tip that Soulja had been making numerous threats to people on social media, TMZ reports.
Some of those threats were aimed at Migos member Quavo, who Soulja recently dissed on unsubtly named track ‘Beef’. He then posted a since-deleted Instagram video of himself holding firearms and dancing to the song.
Lil Yachty commented on the arrested on Twitter.
