High energy techno belters from the Berghain resident.

Berlin techno veteran Fiedel will release his first solo record for Ostgut Ton on March 3.

The artist has been producing for over two decades, both solo and as one half of MMM alongside Errorsmith. He’s a former staff member at Berlin’s famed Hard Wax record store and plays regularly at the city’s Wax Treatment parties.

Substance B will be his first solo 12″ on Berghain’s in-house label Ostgut Ton, though he’s been a resident at the club since it opened in 2004 and has contributed solo tracks to the imprint’s Fünf, Various and Zehn compilations.

The title track is described as a “high-energy, raving techno belter” designed to be played out in big, dark rooms. You can preview it below along with B-side tracks ‘S-Drive’ and ‘Track 432’.

Fiedel’s Ostgut Ton debut is already the third record to be announced on the label this year, after a team-up between Marcel Dettmann and Ben Klock, and an EP from Massimiliano Pagliara.
