Carousel Hold is out on Bandcamp now.

100% Silk artist Golden Donna has released a new album on Bandcamp, with all of the proceeds going to funds in aid of last year’s warehouse fire in Oakland.

As RA reports, all proceeds from Carousel Hold will be split evenly between the Immediate Oakland Fire Relief Fund and the Samuel (Peaches) Maxwell Ghost Ship Survivor Fund.

Golden Donna, otherwise known as Joel Shanahan, was scheduled to play the 100% Silk party  at the Ghost Ship warehouse on December 2, and told RA he worked on the album “over the past couple weeks as a means of therapy.”

Shanhan’s Carousel Hold contributed to the Lives Through Magic compilationis one of several records in aid of the tragedy, in which 36 people died. Daphni and Pantha du Prince last month, while 100% Silk are to release memorial versions of tapes from Nackt and Cherushii, who died in the fire.
