An odd combo that will actually happen.

Lady Gaga and Metallica are set to debut something “very special and unique” at this Sunday’s Grammys. Rolling Stone confirms that this unlikely pairing will indeed be performing together at the awards show – it’s like Eminem and Elton John all over again.

Gaga performed at last year’s Grammys, headlining the awards show’s homage to David Bowie. Her tribute was not entirely well-received, as Bowie’s son Duncan Jones called it “mentally confused.” This weekend’s performance, however, follows a Gaga’s strong showing at the Super Bowl Halftime Show.

The Grammys air this Sunday, February 12 and will feature performances from Bruno Mars, Katy Perry, Pregyoncé and more. Unfortunately, it will not feature a group performance from A Tribe Called Quest, Anderson .Paak and Dave Grohl.
