The legendary Barcelona festival branches out.

Sónar Hong Kong has revealed the lineup for its inaugural event.

Taking place on April 1 across six stages at Hong Kong Science Park, artists performing at the first edition of the festival include DJ Shadow, Daito Manabe, Powell, Kode9, Evian Christ, Dave Clarke, Lady Leshurr. A number of leading Chinese artists are also booked to play.

Sónar+D – the International Congress for Digital Culture and Creative Technologies – will also set up shop in Hong Kong for the first time, offering everything from installations, workshops and talks to audiovisual performances based around Virtual Reality and digital art.
