South London producers Phrased and Ron Obvious feature on the imprint’s first record.

Bradley Zero’s Rhythm Section International label has announced the launch of a new sub-label, International Black.

According to a press release, the new imprint focuses on “heads down, arms up” music for late nights and early mornings as opposed to the breezy disco and house of its parent label, which has released records from artists such as Al Dobson Jr, Chaos in the CBD and Henry Wu.

International Black’s first release is a split 12″ from South London producers Phrased and Ron Obvious, artists with ties to the vinyl-only L.B. Produce label. According to the label it features two deep house tracks recorded with analog hardware.

The launch of the label coincides with the expansion of Bradley Zero’s Rhythm Section party, which has been running in Peckham in 2009. Last month it moved from Canavans to its new larger home, Peckham’s Bussey Building.

INTLBLK001 is released on vinyl on March 3 with artwork from London-based artist Yuli Serfaty. Stream Phrased’s ‘Pushing (303 Jazz Mix)’ below.

Tracklist:

01. Phrased – ‘Pushing (303 Jazz Mix)’
02. Ron Obvious – ‘Man Ray’
