St. Vincent stars in a Funny Or Die comedy sketch announcing her role as ambassador for part-time vinyl lovers’ favorite day of the year, aka Record Store Day, which takes place on April 22.

In the sketch, Annie Clark undergoes training to become the ambassador for a non-existent island called “Recordstorda” after her manager misdirects her – watch it below.

Clark’s RSD promotion role follows last year’s ambassadors Metallica and previous faces Chuck D and Jack White. Go to the Record Store Day site for info on participating stores and other information.

St. Vincent is rumored to be releasing a new album this year, while her directorial debut, a short film called ‘The Birthday Party,’ lands next week as part of the horror anthology XX.
