OG rap fans – look away now.

Emotions were running high at the history-making Grammys on Sunday (February 12), but thankfully Carly Rae Jepsen and Lil Yachty showed up to take it down a notch.

Last week, the terrible twosome teased their rework of Rob Base and DJ E-Z Rock’s 1988 classic ‘It Takes Two,’ – with Mike Will Made It on production – and last night debuted the track in a commercial for US supermarket giant Target that aired during the awards.

In the video we find them larking around in a shiny red supermarket with shelves of Ritz crackers and emoji cushions in the background. It’s somewhere between Supermarket Sweep and Dawn of the Dead – and those are two things that should never go together

Jepsen and Yachty’s ad follows Gwen Stefani’s Target-sponsored live music video which aired during last year’s awards show, but was pre-filmed by director Roman Coppola with dance moves by La La Land-choreographer Mandy Moore.
