Warning: Golden shower jokes ahead.

Barack Obama has Jeezy’s ‘My President’ and Vladimir Putin, apparently, has his very own pop song, too. On the most recent episode of Last Week Tonight, host John Oliver tackles Putin’s possible relationship with the Trump Administration and he does so through song.

A Eurodance girl group warns Trump with a song called ‘A Man Like Putin’, which is not just some tongue-in-cheek way of not only dissing Russia for its president but also its taste in music. It is a parody of an extremely real Russian charts-topping pop-propaganda song that was released in 2002.

The original track, which is also called ‘A Man Like Putin’, is performed by the duo Singing Together and features lyrics like: “I want a man like Putin, who’s full of strength / I want a man like Putin, who doesn’t drink / I want a man like Putin, who won’t make me sad.”

It was written by Russian metal musician Alexander Yelin, who only took the songwriting job on a $300 bet. In an interview with PBS, Yelin said: “All I needed was the right message… What can a girl sing about? She can’t sing that Putin is great. That would be stupid and it wouldn’t be funny. But she can sing that everything around her sucks, and she needs a man like Putin.”

The song was, apparently, adopted by Putin and is played ironically at his rallies. And you know what? That’s not as bad as Trump using the Rolling Stones’ ‘You Can’t Always Get What You Want’.
