The music world freaked out over the Best Picture announcement debacle, just like us.

The Oscars took place last night (February 26), with La La Land, Moonlight and Arrival winning the lion’s share of the awards.

2017’s ceremony ended on a strange note, with Faye Dunaway and Warren Beatty mistakenly announcing that La La Land had been awarded Best Picture instead of Moonlight. The error wasn’t corrected till after the La La Land team, led by director Damien Chazelle, had begun their acceptance speech, making for a debacle unlike any other in Oscars history.

Musicians from the world of hip-hop, R&B and pop were quick to celebrate Moonlight’s success, once the dust settled from that confusing episode. There were also celebrations from Frank Ocean for actress Viola Davis, whose Best Supporting Actress win for her role in drama Fences and moving acceptance speech prompted him to post on Tumblr: “YESSS VIOLA”.

Yoooooo THIS IS SO 2017!!!!!!!!
