Grace Jones to headline Wilderness festival in Oxfordshire

The scenic festival hosts an incomparable talent this August.

Grace Jones will bring her outrageously glam stage show to this year’s Wilderness festival in Oxfordshire.

The disco heroine’s headline slot tops a line-up that also includes Bonobo (live), Jackmaster, Nightmares on Wax, Crazy P, Artwork and BBC Sound of 2017 winner Ray BLK.

Wilderness festival is big on food, with Yotam Ottolenghi and Thomasina Miers among the chefs plying their trade over the weekend. Let’s hope they can provide enough sashimi and oysters for Ms. Jones’ needs.

Wilderness takes place on August 3-6 in Cornbury Park, Oxfordshire. Tickets are available now.

Jones is also among the headliners for this year’s Dimensions festival in Croatia, playing alongside Jeff Mills and Moderat. As far as we’re concerned, she’s one of music’s greatest icons.
