Nicki Minaj posted a video on Instagram last night revealing that she and Future were filming something in a “secret” location. Minaj has been ramping up for a possible new release this year, with recent guest verses on tracks for Gucci Mane and Jason Derulo, respectively. Could this be another clue that something more is on the horizon?
On the Derulo track ‘Swalla’, which also features Ty Dolla $ign, Minaj raps: “I gave these bitches two years, now your time’s up” both alluding to new solo music, as well as a shot at ‘Conceited’ rapper Remy Ma. Over the weekend, Remy released a lengthy diss track aimed at Minaj called ‘Shether’. Minaj has still not responded to Remy Ma on wax.
Could Future and Nicki be filming a clap back? Is Nicki starring in a video for Future’s new Bon Iver-esque HNDRXX track ‘Use Me’? Probably neither! There is, however, no further details at this time.
