Jay Z is set to produce a film adaptation of Lin-Manuel Miranda’s Tony-winning musical In the Heights. (You didn’t know dude has been around since before Hamilton, huh?)

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Harvey Weinstein made the announcement at his pre-Oscars gala this past Sunday. Jay inked a first-look deal with The Weinstein Company last year, so this is another project on Hov’s list that also includes an upcoming six-part docu-series about the late Kalief Browder. (That premieres tonight on Spike at 10PM EST.)

Jon M. Chu, who directed Justin Bieber’s Never Say Never and two Step Up sequels, is set to helm the film alongside Miranda, who may or may not star.

Whether he takes a role in the film or not, it will eventually put him back into EGOT contention. At last weekend’s Oscars, Miranda was one step away from becoming one of the few entertainers with all four awards, but he lost the category for Best Original Song to La La Land. But hey, good thing musicals are back in style!
