The New York rapper takes a deep look at race in America.

Joey Bada$$ has released a video for ‘Land of the Free’, one of Southern Hospitality’s must-hear tracks from this past January.

While the production is bouncy and buoyant, the clip, which Bada$$ self-directed in collaboration with Nathan R. Smith, is more in line with the politically-charged lyrics. Focusing on the state of American (or, AmeriKKKan, in this case) politics, the video explores the darker realities of power.

The track comes from his album All-Amerikkkan Bada$$, which will be out April 7.
