After run-ins with Spotify and Apple Music, the star is starting her own Spotify rival according to legal papers.

Taylor Swift is reportedly launching her own streaming service.

Swift has yet to comment on the reports or shed any light on her plans for the site, which TMZ is describing as a streaming service. It’s suggested that the “non-downloadable multi-media content in the nature of audio recordings” offered on the service will be her own music only, rather than a Tidal-style venture offering a vast range of music by various artists, but right now little is known.

TMZ also reports that the 1989 artist is also looking to introduce a line of music products, including guitars and guitar accessories, along with offering retreats and educational projects.

Swift has had a famously rocky relationship with major streaming platforms, pulling her entire catalog from Spotify in 2014. She penned an open letter chastising Apple Music the following year and while her music is currently available to stream on Apple, it still cannot be found on Spotify.

FACT has reached out to a Taylor Swift representative for comment.
