Syd has released ‘Treading Water’, a track cut from her debut solo album Fin that she says was originally her favorite.

As FADER points out, the Steve Lacy and Ronald “Flip” Colson-produced song may have been cut because the same instrumental appears on Big Sean and Jhené Aiko’s ‘Selfish’.
