The London via Tokyo duo go stop motion.

Phoenix and the Flower Girl have released a video for ‘Baby’s Breath’, taken from their upcoming debut UK EP greenhouse.

The stop motion clip for the Toro Y Moi-sounding track is just one of 6 accompanying pieces of art created for each track on the EP, as part of producer and vocalist Phoenix Troy and artistic director Flower’s on-going collaboration.

“The title greenhouse represents the cultivation and exhibition of plants under controlled conditions,” says Troy of the EP. “Relating to us as a species, humans we are all under one building; earth. We are the ones under controlled conditions. Everything’s a greenhouse essentially to something. The concept of an exterior is a greenhouse to any interior.”
