A tribute to her home state Louisiana and her adopted hometown Los Angeles.

D∆WN, aka Dawn Richard, has shared a video for Redemption track ‘LA’.

The black and white clip – save for the pops of color throughout – surveys some of the highlights of Downtown Los Angeles, including the bustle of the Jewelry District and the incredible architecture at the Walt Disney Concert Hall. The video was directed by Monty Marsh.

“‘LA’ is such a personal record and visual to me. It explains the parallels of the struggle and beauty I’ve encountered in both Louisiana and Los Angeles,” Richard told Jezebel, who premiered the video. “[The pops of] red signifies the redemption I find in both the grit and the glamour.”

Richard has also revealed some East Coast tour dates, with plans to hit the EU soon.
