Enter the surreal world of the band’s new album via these immersive experiences.

Gorillaz are opening three “spirit houses” across the globe that will allow fans to enter the band’s virtual home.

As Pitchfork reports, the press release describes the project as “immersive, high fidelity” structures in “raw spaces” that will feature physical installations, digital projections along with music and artwork.

“Come and bathe in high-tech sound, feast on unearthly visuals, and let the experience take you on the ultimate trip,” bassist Murdoc added Niccals in a statement.

The Gorillaz Spirit House been created in collaboration with Sonos and will launch in Brooklyn from April 21-23, Berlin from April 28-30, and Amsterdam on May 6. Entry is free and you can sign up via this site. Watch a trailer for the project below.
