Here are 2017’s 10 biggest selling vinyl records so far
Rag ‘n’ Bone Man has outsold The xx.
We already knew that Ed Sheeran’s latest album Divide is, for some logic-defying reason, the fastest selling vinyl album for twenty years, so it comes as no surprise that the LP also tops the biggest selling records of 2017 so far. The album has sold 21,000 vinyl copies since it was released at the start of March.
Coming in at number two is Amy Winehouse’s perennial family favorite Back to Black, while posthumous David Bowie singles collection Legacy is at number three. All fine and well considering their inimitable contribution to music, but how does a man with as much ingenuity as a squashed snail manage to outstrip The Beatles, The xx and Pink Floyd? Yup, you guessed it – the ubiquitous Rag ‘n’ Bone Man is at number four. And we have no idea why.
Elsewhere, The xx are at number seven with their new album I See You, while the Pulp Fiction soundtrack is at number ten. See the full top 10 below and head to the OCC site to see the full 40.
