All proceeds from the event go to mental health charity MIND.

Composer Rupert Clervaux is to bring his Zibaldone of CVX series of releases in aid of mental health MIND to London’s Servant Jazz Quarters on April 20.

The Beatrice Dillon collaborator – whose most recent entry in the series, ‘Zibaldone II of CVX’, has just been released as a 10″ dubplate via London label Laura Lies In also to benefit MIND – is promising “diverse selections from all over the shop” at the event. Alongside him will be artist Coline Cornélis, responsible for the series’ hand-drawn artwork, and label head James Marrs.

‘Zibaldone II of CVX’, which was released digitally on January 27, is said to “unpick a poetic thread… [using] it to stitch together four musical and rhythmical meditations on the modern psychosocial condition” in a press release from the label. Listen for yourself below and keep track of the event on Facebook.
