The FACT favorite takes on a mega-hit for charity.
Mitski has breathed new life into One Direction’s 2014 pop hit ‘Fireproof’ for Secretly Group’s compilation Our First 100 Days.
The compilation aims to raise both funds and awareness for organizations threatened by policies from the Trump administration.
Mitski, whose Puberty 2 LP was among our top 50 albums of 2016, wrote in a Facebook post that all profits raised from ‘Fireproof’ will go directly to organizations “working on the front lines of climate change, reproductive rights, immigration, LGBTQA rights, and more.”
Our First 100 Days has featured the likes of Angel Olsen, Toro Y Moi, Avey Tare and more. Check it out and support the project via the Secretly Bandcamp page.
