A live album will be released from the event.

Paul Oakenfold DJed a party on top of Mount Everest and has the video to prove it.

Oakenfold announced the feat, which took nearly two years of planning to accomplish, and shared video from the party today on Facebook where he’s been updating fans on the climb.

The stunt was to raise money for four charities and will be captured with a live album and a documentary. Oakenfold also left all the DJ equipment for the party on Everest to be used by the local artists and community.

No word yet on when the album or documentary are due, or even which charities this was to support — but who cares! This is about one thing, which you can watch below.
