From the band’s new album I See You.

Four Tet has dropped a new remix of ‘A Violent Noise’, a track from pals The xx’s new album released earlier this year.

While the original was one of the sparser tracks on I See You and just shy of four minutes, Four Tet stretches the song to more than double the length, turning it into a driven house track.

Four Tet is no stranger to remixing The xx and has previously taken on ‘VCR’ and ‘Angels’ from the band’s earlier albums. Last year he remixed Jamie xx’s solo track ‘Seesaw’.
