An ode to our obsessions with cell phones.

Major Lazer have released a video for their track ‘Run Up’ featuring Nicki Minaj and PARTYNEXTDOOR.

The clip, directed by Paul, Luc and Martin (the creative collective of french star Stromae), is dedicated to people’s nearly-religious need to constantly be on our phones. Nicki even raps some of her verse on FaceTime.

“The idea was to laugh at ourselves and at the unconditional love we bear to our smartphones,” say the directors Paul, Luc and Martin of the video. “Humor and absurdity came naturally in our speech because our will was not to accuse someone or something but just exaggerate it to foster reflection.”
