The animated troupe play London’s O2 Arena in November.

Gorillaz have announced a UK arena tour in support of their new album Humanz, which came out last Friday.

The cartoon crew will play shows in Brighton, Glasgow, Manchester, Birmingham and London following a run of dates across Europe this autumn starting November 1. Murdoc, Noodle, Russel and 2D will be joined on stage by the Gorillaz live band, including Damon Albarn, as well as selected performers from the band’s roll call of guest artists.

Tickets for all shows go on sale 9am GMT on Friday, May 5.

After playing a secret show in London in March, Damon Albarn’s outfit are also gearing up for their first proper UK show in seven years at Demon Dayz, their Gorillaz-curated festival at the Dreamland amusement park in Margate.

Last week the band unveiled a bonus track featuring Zebra Katz, Ray BLK and Rag ‘N’ Bone Man.
