The Radiohead guitarist reunites with the director of We Need To Talk About Kevin.

Jonny Greenwood has been tapped to score You Were Never Really Here, a new thriller starring Joaquin Phoenix.

An adaptation of Jonathan Ames’ novel of the same name, the movie follows a war veteran’s attempt to save a young girl from a sex trafficking ring. It’s helmed by Lynne Ramsay, the Scottish director who previously tapped Greenwood to score her 2011 movie We Need to Talk About Kevin, and is set to premiere at Cannes Film Festival this month.

Greenwood has been keeping himself very busy in Hollywood in recent years, scoring Paul Thomas Anderson’s Inherent Vice and The Master. He’s currently writing the music for his fourth Anderson project, a feature about Britain’s 1950s fashion industry starring Daniel Day Lewis.

Yesterday Radiohead announced a massive 20th anniversary reissue of OK Computer featuring three unreleased songs.
